Aloha and Welcome to the official website of the 500th Military Intelligence Brigade-Theater (MIB-T).

Based on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, the 500th MIB-T plays a crucial role across the Pacific by providing comprehensive intelligence support to the U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) Commander. Additionally, the brigade integrates MI Soldiers and capabilities of joint and partner forces to enable their deployment into the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) area of responsibility (AOR) in support of operations.

As the Army’s leading edge in the Indo-Pacific, the Brigade strives to adapt and meet the intelligence requirements across a wide array of theater contingencies, from planning for large-scale combat operations to providing aid during disaster relief and humanitarian assistance missions. On a daily basis, our Brigade carries out vital tasks such as intelligence collection, analysis and exploitation, ensuring the safety of our forces, and overseeing operational intelligence activities for U.S. forces within the USINDOPACOM AOR.

Mission

The 500th MIB-T conducts multi-discipline intelligence operations to provide early and accurate warning intelligence to the Joint Force and enable USARPAC operations. On order, the Brigade integrates MI Soldiers and capabilities into theater operations to enable their deployment into the USINDOPACOM AOR.
