Mission:

The 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber) generates, trains, and sustains the Army’s offensive cyberspace operations teams and Cyber Warfare Battalions to deliver effects in support of Army and joint requirements.

Digital Network Intelligence Analyst:

Collects and analyzes adversary cyber capabilities, malicious tradecraft, and activity patterns; identifies targets and enables exploitations.

Interactive Operator:

Performs reconnaissance and mapping to identify network vulnerabilities and exploitation opportunities; conducts computer network operations.

Intelligence Specialist (Operations) GG-12

U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) | This position is with the 782d Military Intelligence Battalion (Cyber), 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber) at Fort Gordon, Ga. Develop analytic techniques to gain in-depth target information while conducting full-spectrum military Cryptologic Cyberspace operations. Conduct Cyber Warfare targeting to ensure friendly freedom of action in Cyberspace and deny the same to adversaries. Designs, produces, tests, and field advances network warfare technologies, custom software, and countermeasures; enables on-net operations with tool development.

HammerCon 2026, the 5th annual national convention of the Military Cyber Professionals Association (MCPA), is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2026. It will be held at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU APL) Kossiakoff Center in Laurel, Maryland.

Army Ten-Miler 2026

The Army’s annual Army Ten-Miler (ATM) Race and Expo is conducted in our nation’s capital by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington (MDW). Attracting over 35,000 runners and 900 teams from around the world, the ATM exemplifies the Spirit of Sport and the Spirit of a Nation. Participants include Soldiers, Civilians, wheelchair, and wounded warrior athletes.

The 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber) has a booth at the Army Ten-Miler Expo 2026 on October 9 and 10, 2026. Our Civilian Personnel Office, Civilian employees, and Soldiers will be on hand to discuss opportunities within the Brigade.
